What You Can't See Can Hurt You

Most homeowners assume that if the lint trap is clean and the vent is clear, they are safe. However, fine lint particles constantly bypass the screen and drift inside the body (chassis) of the dryer itself.

    The Ignition Point:

This lint settles on the most dangerous parts of the appliance:

    1. The Heating Element: In electric dryers, lint can settle directly on the glowing coils, igniting instantly.
    2. The Motor: Lint acts as a blanket, causing the motor to overheat.
    3. The Gas Burner: In gas dryers, lint near the intake can cause improper combustion or flash fires.

Fact: The majority of dryer fires start inside the machine, not just in the wall vent.

    Surgical Internal Cleaning

We go deeper than a standard vent cleaner. We treat the appliance itself.

    Our Process:

    1. Power Down: We safely disconnect the power and gas lines.
    2. Disassembly: We remove the front or back panels of your dryer (depending on the model) to expose the internal mechanics.
    3. Deep Extraction: Using specialized micro-vacuums and compressed air, we remove every clump of lint from the cabinet floor, motor windings, and heating assembly.
    4. Chute Scrubbing: We scrub the lint trap chute (the space where your filter slides in), which is notorious for trapping lost socks and thick wads of lint.
    5. Reassembly & Test: We put the machine back together and run a cycle to ensure it’s running smoother and safer than before.

    Restore Factory Safety

    • Primary Fire Prevention: By removing the fuel (lint) from the heat source, you drastically lower fire risk.
    • Stop Burning Smells: That “hot dust” smell when you run the dryer? That’s burning lint. We get rid of it.
    • Save Your Machine: Preventing overheating extends the life of your expensive appliance by years.
When was the last time your dryer was opened?

If the answer is “never,” it’s time for a Ninja cleaning.

What types of services do Duct Ninjas provide?

We provide camera inspection, negative air vacuuming, deep roto-brush duct cleaning (our standard service), and EPA approved sanitizing to get rid of and prevent mold and mildew.

Most single-system homes take 2–4 hours; larger homes or multiple systems take longer. We’ll give you a precise window before we start.

No. We seal registers, run HEPA filtration, and use drop cloths and shoe covers. Dust goes into our vacuum, not your living space.

Yes—our sanitizer is EPA-registered for HVAC use. People and pets can re-enter once it’s applied and dried (typically 10–30 minutes), and there’s only a light, temporary scent.

Please clear access to vents, returns, the air handler, and a driveway spot for our vacuum. Put pets in a safe room and make sure an adult is home.

Every 2-3 years is recommended to prevent mold and musty smell. Or after every dusty renovation.
